Anyone heard of this

A friend of mine has been told that some kit cars are being recalled by the IVA a couple of months after passing the test to see if any changes have been made to the car e.g new wing mirrors etc which would now fail the test.

I said that once passed then they are like any other new car
Told him it was scaremongering.
So, has anyone else heard of this or even experienced it ?

I'm on KitNet.uk and there has been nowt said about it on there. I'm sure the main guys would have heard about it by now and several guys are going through the IVA process - not a word about this issue been mentioned though so I doubt it is true.
