Toniq on the telly

Kit car maker Toniq to feature today

Channel Four will feature Toniq, the kit car maker, on its Engineering show this morning at 11.35.

The footage shows founders Colin and Will driving the Toniq-R for the first time and the champagne celebrations that followed. They said that, "all our reactions/emotions, however embarrassing, were completely genuine and un-rehearsed".

The documentary goes on to illustrate some of the engineering challenges faced  with the carburettors fitting under the bonnet, as well as explaining why they chose the motorcycle powered drive-train.

If you miss it, pick it up on the DVD -- more here: www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=9925

Well I don't know who your sources are. But I switched on to find exactly the same football headband program that was on the last time someone said the Toniq program was going to be on.

The TV show was on the Tuesday again. I know its no excuse and it is very annoying for us. Its happened twice now, we can only assume that next time its repeated they'll get it wrong again. It'll be on 6 more times in the next 2 years.

Follow the link to get hold of a copy of the DVD of this show for just £3.

Will,
You know the old saying about racing improving the breed etc.

I reckon you should enter a factory car in the 750 RGB champs - I'll happily drive it all season for you and won't charge a thing.

Results gauaranteed, although I can't say what sort of results.

I saw the Toniq episode on Tuesday and I have to congratulate Will and Colin. I have also met Ian Gray and he is a cool guy.
