Window winder

I need a small manual window winder machanism (Lighter and cheaper than electric) for my Mini marcos.

As an idea the normal mini mechanism is to big!!

What do Clan Crusaders and GTM's use? Or maybe even Countach or GT40 replicas?

Midas used modified Fiesta mechanisms (Mk1 - Mk3) later models used Metro gear.

You can find a build manual for the converible at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/midas_sportscars_group/. This includes details of how to modify the Metro mechanism

The Libra probably uses Metro.

Plenty of newer cars use a cable system which can be very compact
