Is this a kit or scratch built?

I would suggest it's a one off, but I don't know what the Kiwi Kit Car scene is like.
Excellent posting one hell of a kit car if that is what it actually is?The wheel base and sheer s size, fit of components, panel fit etc and sheer quality of the general finishes are quite exceptional. If this is a one off build then in 50 years of kit car building I have never ever seen better. Bloody good show!

I thought the same hence wanting to share. The wheel base and sheer s size, fit of components, panel fit etc and sheer quality of the general finishes are quite exceptional. If this is a one off build then in 50 years of kit car building I have never ever seen better. Bloody good show!
Interior looks good as well.
I could ask the seller about it but didn't want to 'tyrekick'. Maybe I should
Here is the link and is approx. £8,500

I have contacted the selling asking about the car. No reply yet but will report back if I get some more info.
Logistics is a container to UK approx. $3000 and whatever red tape to import
I do wsh you well! Unseen Purchase at that distance could be a challenge! if there is substantive provenance and history and the Car is registered and documented in NZ then I can understand your interest. It certainly looks an exceptional car. However as always Caveat Emptor must be the byword in such a purchase.Logistics is a container to UK approx. $3000 and whatever red tape to import
Today I got an email from Goldrock - a new PistonHeads member. Unfortunately the moderators aren’t allowing new members to post!? Perhaps a moderator is in here who can allow Goldrock to post more information and pictures on this interesting car.

I have owned this fully certified car for 3years now and i can say she performs beautifully.
Built by Jeff Dobbs in Christchurh -NZ .. Holden Rodeo full chassis....Engine is a Rover SD1 running a Rover 5 speed gear box to a BMW diff. Headlights from a 1928-29 Graham-Paige and 1969 Austin Healy sprite windshield and wire wheels from the same. Body is Fibreglass but bonnet and boot are alloy....Incredible attention to detail and must have cost the constructor a huge amount of money and time. I'm presently having a hardtop made for it so I can have more use during the winter months ......I hope this sheds a little light on the mystery.

Worth bearing in mind, NZ has much more strict rules about scratch built/home built cars than we do in the UK. The chances of a badly nailed together shambles getting legally registered and on the road over there are pretty sim.
Not my sort of thing, but does look really well presented.
