'What's wrong with Kit Car?'
Discussion
I have some theories about Kit Car Magazine. I would like to here what others think.
Please give comment about content, layout, advertising, how well it is written, what is missing, how it could be improved etc.
This is not a sl*gging thread. It is for information and research. So please have the good sense to treat it as such.
I would like serious positive and / or negative feedback please.

I'll start with some comments that I have.
1. I was disappointed with the SVA info in this months mag. Not because it was irrelevant. It is admitted at the start that it is taken from an old article and brought up to date.
This is fair enough, but the layout any the pictures needed at least bringing into line with the rest of the magazine.
2. I feel a lot of space is taken up by advertising Cobra. Fair enough, it is the sister magazine, but I personnally have little interest in Cobra's and feel there is enough already in the mag relating to the mark.
3. I enjoy the way many articles are written. They have a good mix of technical info, without being too in depth as to confuse.

What's wrong with Kit Car?
Absolutely nothing, it's great, as is Madabout.
This answer comes about from years of scientific research and FACT and has nothing to do with me running Madabout or wanting to re-print some of Kit Car magazines articles on the site.
(I will get round to doing it Den, it's been a long time I know but I'm still working on it )
Sorry Mark, suffering from burn out, had to release a bit.

I used to buy both Kit Car and Which Kit Car regularly, but rarely do so now. Fed up with reading comments arising from the personal feud between Den and PF. I would also echo the point on Cobras. Don't get me wrong, there are good points in some of the technical bits, hints and tips, and articles. But they don't outweigh the dislike I have of paying for a public feud month after month.
Sorry Meeja. I don't think I was slagging (certainly didn't intend to), not was I intending to cover old ground, nor judging right or wrong, and certainly don't want any more mag wars stuff. The question was "What's wrong with Kit Car". This is the main thing I find wrong with Kit Car (and WKC). Address this in Kit Car and I will buy it more often, because there is actually a lot right with Kit Car. Don't address this, and it really doesn't matter how much effort is put into improving the rest - I still won't buy it regularly.
Its great to see somebody trying to improve Kit Car but, please, if this is a genuine attempt to do so then there should not be a veto over what people say they would like to see improved. (Its about 3/4 months since I last bought a copy, so if this has been sorted since then apologies all round and I will set off for the newsagents!).
