Still in shock from seeing this video - it's the same guys who do a Toyota 2000GT replica, Roadster Garage.

Translation of video text is:

"It is a replica of the Lamborghini Miura of the Mazda Roadster overseas specification that has been exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2015, which was held (Mazda MX-5) based in Makuhari Messe. Roadster garage was produced had created a Toyota 2000GT replica based on the Mazda Roadster. Body engine is made of FRP took the mold from real Miura seems to can be changed by the preference of the owner. Bonnet such as lowering the engine mount so that it is at the same height as the original, has been designed is."

Clearly had a monster miata style 302 V8 engine swap and they've still managed to get that low bonnet line.

So we have a front engined, rwd, 5 litre V8 Miura - I am gob smacked!!

Another video from the manufacturers showing the car driving. Side on shot it has to be a Prova replica body shell doesn't it?

Video out on the road - skip to 6'08" - weird hearing V8 noise in conjunction with that shape!

Surely the glass and surround aren't MX5 though? In which case needs IVA for UK.

Yeah make you right IVA for sure. But no one is actively producing a Miura kit now - Parallel designs was the last attempt and they seemed to have gone a bit quiet...

If the car was imported into the UK already converted and is over 10 years old then surely its just the case of an MOT, apply for V5 and off you go, no iva required.

The Lambo had a wheelbase of 2500 and an MX5 is just over 2200. Not easy to disguise in a body conversion.

Pretty sure they extend wheelbase for their 2000GT replica (which is gorgeous btw)

so this has probably has had some sort of wheel base extension? (that said in one of the vids the rear wheel is really very close to the main body side of the arch...

More information on the build would be very interesting. Is it an old Prova body or a new moulding?

Its a prove body and i am using Porsche engine and gearbox with loads of original parts such as glass, wheels, lamps all round, and interia.
I have been collecting parts over the last 3 years and have now started to put them all together.
