Haven't seen it done yet, but has anyone put a 998/9 ducati v twin in seven type car?

Just considering asking z cars whether it would be possible with there standard conversion kit for a mini as all their conversions are with straight 4's.

Reason being for the sound more than anything.

What does everyone think?

Any other issues besides the obvious - italian reliability....?

I think you've already got your reason.

Reliability of engine and electrics!

The engines aren't that cheap either.

If you must go for a V twin, how about a Suzuki TL1000 (S or R). More power, better reliability and cheaper to buy.

There was a kit car with a TL1000 engine at Oulton this year in the 750MC championship. Sounded great. I know Stuart Taylor have built a Pheonix with Honda SP1 power as well
