From Corse's to Hawk and Listerbell. I'm curious what the current value of stratos replicas are. It seems to me corse's are probably the lowest, with the Hawk and LB higher up in the range of 40-50k gbp? They don't come on the market that much, so don't have the easiest time gauging prices. I'm also in the U.S. where the stratos market is almost nil...

As with any kit, it's not easy to value one other than on an individual basis, as the standard and spec of build can vary so much. The Hawk tends to appeal to the 'true replica' gang a bit more than the others, so if you are in that camp, then you'd be more inclined to go for a Hawk and perhaps pay a premium for a particular car, the LB is a much more modern animal and IMO, by far the best engineered of them all, the Corse is arguably somewhere between the two in terms of appeal, in that it's not quite as accurate a replica as the Hawk, nor as well engineered as the LB.
I built a Corse S a few years back, sold it pretty easily when the time came and got what I asked for it. If my lottery numbers come up, I will be building a new LB for myself.

I would love a Lister bell kit . However i would really want to use it on track days and im not too sure if this car is suitable or not. Could anyone glean some light on its high speed stability through corners what with the very short wheel base? Im used to driving elise based cars on track , my VX220 had quite a rear engined bias, but it did feel very stable until you reached the limit of adhesion and then it snapped. Would a stratos feel more twitchy than this ?
here they say its drives better then the original...
but also say it can be a hand-full because of the short wheelbase when it snaps, so slow in fast out?

Delicate subject this.....some folk concern themselves to the point of obsession over the minutiae, and I for one am not going to criticise them for it, each to their own. Personally, I wanted to build what I considered a modern(ish) tribute to the original.I've been looking over the hawk kits vs. the LB kits, what exactly are the differences between them and the originals? Visually, there are a few clues for the keen-eyed but for overall impression, little to choose between them IMO. The Hawk uses some original style parts for some suspension components like front uprights, the LB is all modern machined billet and modern bearings etc. The LB kit (as standard) uses modern instruments with a retro look, the Hawk uses the original Vegla gauges etc. Of course, it's a kit, so if you build it yourself, you are free to choose these details. I understand that the Hawk retains the suspension geometry of the originals pretty much. The LB & Corse do not. Make of that what you will! Properly set up, they are all good.
As far as significant differences to the originals, other than one or two full-on steel monocoque replicas, all the crop of kits have a space-frame chassis clad in fibreglass, so there's one big difference, there are a few kits around using Ferrari power plants, some Dino, some V8 ones, even a Thema Ferrari or two.
The oft quoted statement of Hawk body parts being used to repair genuine cars I honestly don't know the truth of, you'd have to ask someone who has done that but I see no reason to doubt it. Personally again, I much preferred the Corse mouldings in the sense that the OEM (and thus the Hawk) panels have no return edges. This is faithfull to the original of course, but personally wouldn't want that given a choice. LB panels are fantastic.
I've seen some really nice Hawk & Corse cars and some less than nice ones too - so much is down to the build. I've only seen factory LB cars so far plus pictures of guys building their kits. Stunning.
FWIW, I was all geared up to build a Hawk one day, visited Gerry, looked at a part-built kit, but in the end, mainly due to lack of funds, I ended up buying a small collection of Corse parts and a large pile of junk that I eventually made into a Corse S over a period of about 6 years. If money was no object, I would 100% have an LB. If money was an object...I don't think I'd try building one on the cheap 'cos it don't work. It won't end up cheap!! (or it'll end up a POS)
Depends what you want really......and budget to some extent. LB are nwe, so you won;t likely find a cheap one out there. Hawks & Corse have been around a while so there's always the chance to find a fixer-upper or someone like I was, a decent car and realisitic expectations on sale price.

I have only been around Zolder as a passenger in a race spec Hawk, but if you are worried about twitchy handling on track you really should not be considering a Stratos of any kind..... They were designed to be twitchy and unstable as they are a rally car. Was totally stable around the track with a little understeer but he was not trying to drift it. Just go fast. I would imagine your VX220 would be light years ahead on a circuit. But maybe that is not the point of owning a Stratos?indeed, I guess which such short wheel basis and wide rear tires, it can be grip grip grip and no grip...

Its not like you are one from a big rally team and you crash it and they build the car up again in one night, when you are just a car fan and bought such car.

Sold for much less about five years ago; this replica was put up only the other day at £69k (still strong money) before it bounced up to £109k pretty shortly thereafter......

Seen this Lancia Stratos rep for sale? looks like a fair price, comes with a lot extra's.
Lancia Lancia Stratos Gr.4 Allora Replik, for just 79k euro's looks great as well, it came online yesterday and I mailed that man if he was interested in a trade in car and the rest in euro's.
He (a friendly guy with a great name) reacted, he was making his car collection smaller, so I asked for some interior pics (was only 1 online) and I got a few, it was indeed more rally Gr.4 but has also a road license and many new parts.
Anyhow, I saw in one of those picture also a part of a Fiat 131 Abarth Alitalia...
I just looked online, but the car is already sold, offline in just one day (good price incl extra's/spares)
Edit: just saw he posted it back online, so there is still a chance.

Judging by the centralised location of its fuel-filler cap, plus the offset profile of those Not-Quite-Right 'coffin-spoke' wheels, I'd venture to suggest it's a UK kit, originally:
Either a CAE Corse I, or else a Napiersport - the same kit's subsequent manufacturers. With the incorrect, flattened profile of its roof-spoiler clinching this suggested identity.
It is LHD and EU-registered though, which together are important criteria when valuing Stratos replicas, over there.
