the whole issue is a bit unclear on what is really happening. Officially the company closed (CAV - they also made GT40s) and another company bought the rights to the GT40. The molds etc. for the Cobra was sent to Mexico we think and what happened to the rest of the Cobra stuff is unclear. There are still a few bodies that a friend of mine bought up. There are a few things to clear up with the original owners, and from what I heard the IRS and Police are involved.
Additionally I worked on a project with someone else to start a Porsche 917 Replica with some really trick design ideas and Engineering improvements, but very close to the original visually, and the Supercar Project I mentioned.
