Footman James are closing down shortly and are not taking any new contracts - they are only honouring the ones they have currently.

Graham Sykes is good and cheap as is Adrian Flux. There are many others but if you're relatively young (i.e. under 25 as I am) don't even bother with them - they won't quote with you on the policy.

My Libra is insured with MSM at Takeley, Essex.
REALLY helpful and cheapest I could find especially with the limited mileage breaks which differed from another well known insurer

How do you know this? I have been using them for ages, they are the best outfit around for classic insurence.

I heard reports a while back and when I was ringing round for quotes back in September they told me then.

AFAIK they are staying open until all current contracts are honoured and are then closing down.

Try Roadsure, they've beaten all the rest on mine, and on the Discovery also, but beware, their prices vary considerably with your post code, if you have a "bad" code, then they could be more expensive than others.

Second vote for MSM. They've even given me 2 years no claims on my Tiger on a separate policy to my Polo so I now have 2 sets of no claims bonuses Oh and they were the cheapest and friendliest I could find.

Sureterm did the business for me, and were very good. I heard several stories about most of the Specialist Insurers and these were recommended.
