No orders as yet, but that was not the object of the exercise (but of course would have been nice).
Main objective was to get the car in front of people so they could see it in the flesh. Some very serious interest though with several people coming for test drives in the current demonstrator in January. On Saturday I had nearly lost my voice by 3pm because I hadn't stopped talking all day!
Main question was regarding SVA - if I was buying a kit that would be high on my priorities. The first new chassis is under construction and we will have a fully SVA'd car by early March 2005.
The nicest moments were when a couple people who were not in the market for a kit, but had been following the story on pistonheads, came along and congratulated us on saving the car!
And yes, we are still using the Fiat Panda as the donor.
