Have any Westfield owners suffered the same problem as me, and if so have you found a way round it?
Where the front roof 'U' channel slides unto the top of the screen the 'key hole' slot has broken. Subsequently the roof lift in the centre at speed due to air pressure running over the roof.
Is there an alternative way of fixing the roof to the screen ala Caterham style with pop studs in the top of the screen (doesn't look nice)or has someone out there got a better idea?

Yep. Nasty bit of ABS plastic...

Made up a 'helper' out of some 1mm stainless sheet. Basically, it's about 2" wide, I rolled it over the top of the plactic, the front edge goes just over the top, the rear edge comes down to just below the plastic, then cut a suitable groove in it to do the job of the plastic bit that falls off.

Held in place with some black tank tape across the top out of sight (to stop it sliding about) but when in use, it holds itself in place due to the shape. You need to be careful to get the dimensions right but it's not too hard.

I put a caphead stainless bolt in the thread insert as it gives a better surface for the plate to grip.

I got a large picture hook, one with 2 hook bits, flattened it out, and reshaped the hooks to hook over the top of the plastic. I then made a hole in the body of the hook(where the nail would go) and just bolt it into the hole in the middle of the windscreen surround. Holds the middle of the plastic down perfectly, and also means the roof fits better in the bootbox, as it is now bendy!
