Demisting problem
Discussion
Hi,
I have a demisting problem with my rochdale gt.
There is a small smiths heater from a Mini I think but it is not very effective.
I have tried anti fog but it does not seam to work.
Anyone any ideas of any great products which prevent the car from misting up. I thought anti fog would work but it does not.
For pictures of the car and to get an idea of the problem see;

Thanks,
William

my lancia stratos lookalike is the same. i just keep the windows open in ALL weather(if they were bigger, i'd be copying ace ventura to drive at night in the rain). mini heater was the worst advice i was given. i'm fitting something a bit meatier, although air-con is becoming fashionable in strati now.
for effective demisting there must be a through flow of air,so ideally you want fresh air coming into the heater ( ducting can be used for this ) and then that air leaving the car at the rear, everyday cars usually have some kind of vents near the rear window, the outflow is just as important as the input, a mini heater should be ok if the interior of the car is the same or smaller, i did think of using some vw beetle vents for my GT as i thought they might look ok
good luck
good luck
Think this was mentioned elsewhere, but Car Builder Solutions/NF Auto Developments do a small electric heater/demister unit. Costs around £30. See www.nfauto.co.uk
