Hi all you nutters, I also have an RRX MK Indy Blade,
however it is for sale (see the car in the for sale section on this site, its the Black and Orange one)
I absolutly love this car and it is stunningly quick.
The thing is I love the speed and power so much that I am now wnating to purchase a bussa kit car of similar.
Now I am wanting to know if any of you can inform me of how much quicker they are, is it worth having the extra power, are they harder to drive having to get the power down, is it to much power for the road, can they oversteer very easily. At the end of the day I would be gutted if I pay out the extra only to find that I could of gone just as quickly (because of getting the power down) in my car.
Im not worried about top end, more from the twisty action.
If any one has owned a blade then moved on to bussa or ZX12 come to that and know from experience that would be cool.
Cheers lads and peace

Hi.

I can't answer your question specifically, but the throttle on these things really is analogue, and is controlled by your right foot / brain - you don't have to use it all at any one time. If you find that at wide open throttle in your current car you are left wanting, then go for it. If not, then there may not be much benefit.
I think you'll find the Busa/ZX12 a fair bit more grunty, it's a reasonable step up in terms of gee-gees and torque. Whether it will be too much... only you can decide that I think.

In a 7, the more power the better. There is a turbo technics supercharger which can be used with a busa, to put out about 230 horses, and it is still very tractable from all reports. I wouldn't worry about putting down the power unless you have badly setup turbo, dodgy tyres or suspension, a seriously sick engine or all three. Standard Hayabusa 7's are no where near the limits of a decent modern 7 chassis.
