They seem to like it but say it could do with a bit more tweeking to get the suspesion just right at the rear. I wonder why it's taken them so long to review it? After all it's been around for a couple of years now.

Yeah, interesting article.

Looks to me like the car they tested hasn't got anti roll bars fitted. By the sounds of things that would have sorted out some of the concerns.

At Donington GTM announced a new rear suspension setup developed in conjunction with MG Sport and Racing, so this may go a long way to sorting out any concerns Evo might have had.

In the article they did say that the rear suspension had rose joints, if so it IS the latest suspension.

Can't help wondering if the car was fully sorted in the alignment department, but it doesn't read tooooo bad, just a tad disapointing for Libra owners.

I thought that it was the demonstrator with the new suspension - the photograph shows the MGTF 16" alloys, but, the last line of the article said, "... with further rear suspension tweaks in the pipeline, there's more to come from the Libra".

It's also my understanding that neither new or old suspension coming out of the factory has rose joints...

Certainly at donnington the V6 demonstrator didn't have the new rear setup. But I was at GTM yesterday, and it does now.

Dunno if it was changed before, or after the review. (should've asked)

I'm not sure if the new suspension is officially finnished yet. Well they couldn't tell me how much anyway.

I think the V6 went to EVO for a week a couple of days after it was built, before Donington...
Surprised it didn't have anti-roll bars with the heavier V6!
