Just found this whilst perusing Ebay: link to item

With the Cobra Replica already gone this would leave them with just their Viper & Ferrari replicas wouldn't it? A bit out of my price range though!

£55k!!!!!

And he won't except lower offers!

OK Robin Hood wanted more for their business, but that is a range of cars including the new lightwieght and the strange 4x4 they have been showing.

Also Robin Hood are known to be profitable and in the top 10 manufacturers for volume of sales.

How many V2's have you seen?

What is the actual value of such a business? I'll bet Kartman didn't pay anywhere near that figure for the Firefly project (Kartman - I don't want to know what you paid) and I believe there is much more to come from that project.

This project includes, a full set of production moulds, chassis jigs, pattern rolling chassis, existing customer base, exclusive ownership of custom wheel design rights and the factory demonstrator worth £18,000, plus full Fiero Factory support and back up for at least your first 6 months. Also we are happy to continue to manufacturing the the fiber glass body panels at a very competitive price for the new owner.

So how much is the demo really worth - trade value £9k?
Existing customer base - of how many confirmed orders with deposits?
Ownership of the wheel design - what so you can get someone to made the wheel? Does this mean you get ownership of the car design too?

If money was no object how much would you pay for the project? (in essence, what's it worth?)

Looking at what you just quoted, it seems a little odd that the advert also said

offered for sale due to the owner emigrating

At least with Robin Hood you would get the factory as well.

Assuming I win the lottery tonight, I personally wouldn't buy it anyway not my cup of tea. But if it was then maybe £15k? I wonder how many kits you'd have to sell to recoup the asking price, 40 or 50 perhaps?
