Who Knows about Parallel Designs or the Torero?
Discussion
Over the years I have driven a number of completed Lambo kits and completed one car. Given the huge amount of work, the size of the finished cars and the amount of time required I would not recommend this project irrespective of the state of the original manufacturer. Unless you fit a supercharged V8 high performance is beyond these kits. As with the original these are very heavy cars.
Building Porsche replicas has been vastly more rewarding, for me. An RSK with and Audi Turbo donor has to be driven to be appreciate. Now that is quick, and handles, being midengined and stops. And takes a lot less time and money.
Just my opinion. Your project. But there are an awful lot of unfinished Lambo kits.

I can probably add to this as I've got a kit from a company that no longer exist and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!
Personally i would suggest that it comes down to how much work you're willing to do yourself, or pay for others to do, rather than if the original company still exist.
If you think about this practically, the vast majority of the mechanicals on the car are from other vehicles, so spares are still available. While the chassis and body may be unique, the skills to make and repair them are common so both should be "repairable" by virtually any garage or enthusiastic home mechanic
So you have to think are there any parts that you simply cannot buy or get fabricated from anyone apart from the oem? I'd suggest not, and say go for it!
But if you do then keep an open mind and a willingness to have fun and get involved with ownership if things do crop up. The worst that can happen is that you have to get something fabricated or re-designed and to me at least that sounds like quite good fun!
But then again, i've already taken the plunge

Hi parallel designs im pretty sure they have gone i bought a finished kit and now need a screen i contacted him through face book and he remembered my car he says he can get a screen and i need to pay for it in advance straight into his bank price was tempting as i dont fancy paying £3700 for a genuine one ....never met the guy so dont know if its a scam asked for his address to go and pay him see what happens next but be careful anyone who contacts him will keep you updated
