Project was sold on and apparently moulds or jigs or both have been destroyed.

You see a few cars for sale though.

More about the Cyclone here:

www.totalkitcar.com/tkc_article_116.shtml

It was indeed destroyed, from what I heard it had ended up in Manchester with the intention of restarting prduction, but the people involved fell out to such a degree that one of them chopped it to pieces! Shame.

Thanks for the extra info D-Angle - in some ways it looks very similar to the RJH Mirach
www.rjhsportscars.co.uk

and is obviously inspired by the ubiquitous Seven.
I had a few laps in the Mirach at Donnington this weekend and it was suprisingly quick despite only having about 150bhp (early Ford 2.8 I think) Handled like a dream though and would go like stink with a big V8 in there

I am seriously considering getting one now as a budget car - the kit is only £4k. With a little bit more updating it will look like a 21st century Seven

I own one of the Cyclones...

Use it as my everyday car infact, goes like the proverbial with a 2.0l XE engine from a Mk2 Astra GTE!!

Feels different from a '7', at least the ones that I have driven, probably as there seems to be more car around you. The hard top is a good system, the only issue being geetting enough air in the car when its warm and raining and you've got the roof(s) on. Though I think I've thought of a way round that.

As far as I know, yes the moulds and jigs were destroyed, but they do come up for sale every now and then, infact mine might as I think I'm going to have to get a company car and I can't keep 2 cars :-(

Anything else you want to know, apart from if your a totally mad bu%%er you can but the 2.0l turbo from a Calibra in it...
