Can anyone help me to track down the original or current producers of the larini.
All I know is that it was based on the mk2 golf as a donor car.

The link below takes you to a small artical and a few pics.
but scluptual engineering no longer seams to be running?

Can't find any more info but like the quote from the web site

"With its sensuous curves, the Larini could easily be mistaken for the latest Italian exotica."

Who are they kidding, it sooo obviously a lotus elise rip off.

Hang on a minute, it's based on a VW so it might actually be reliable and not have bits fall off.

..and that's just one manufacturer. I think there are lessons to be learnt from Steve's observations which might go down very well in "Are kits overpriced?"

Can't find anything relevant on Sculptural Engineering anywhere in my many search engines - are they UK based?

Love that design - it does have similarities to the Elise/VX (which is not a bad thing) but I would be interested if it was available in the UK
