Self explanatory, really. I mean the Kit-Car Show, of course.

IIRC There is only track day action on the Saturday..... so I will probably be going on the Sat rather than the Sunday as I did last year.

Not having been before, do you have to pay to enter if you're driving a kit car?

Hmmmm....more manufacturers than at Newark, but otherwise little to see. Kit-cars stuffed away on a tiny little general camping field, because the old fields are now home to compounds of bl**dy Jap Import 'penis extension' 4X4s and MPVs awaiting SVA. Farcical noise testing for the trackday. Camping toilets that (apart from being woefully small) packed up producing water when the generator failed. No flushing......
Priority areas for Cobras and Sevens (OK maybe paid for, but it hardly promotes 'the industry'). Kit drivers charged to get in.... maybe that makes sense 'cos we weren't contributing to the show....unless visitors stumbled across us hidden away.

Poor, very poor.

You're not the only one Ferg! I was there Saturday and Sunday, camping over on the Saturday night. This is my third Donington and was the worst one I've ever been to.

In fact a lady came over to us on Sunday morning from the Dutton Owners club with a partition to complain about the crap organisation and facilities. And the lack of running water and toilets with bog roll was totally unaccaptable! Not to mention this is the ONLY kit-car show where you have to pay even in a kit car.

I think a letter/email to the organises is in order....
