I've been in the garage trying to make the engine fit. It doesn't, so I don't know if that counts as fun!

Well, bearing in mind the engine mounts are in the wrong place, the chassis is still bare & the cylinder head is off being rebuilt, then I'm not doing too well!

I decided against hammerite though as it seems to stonechip too easily and have some truck paint thats a bit more flexible. (although that's still in it's tin!)

TBH not too concerned about stone chips as I'll not be keeping that long if I get my way

I drove up to Marlin, to change & get a couple of bits.

Had a look at the Orange car they've built and the new hood. Lambo orange is very nice.

Then on Sunday I fitted the pedals. (They needed some work - eg. cut and weld)

I spent most of Sunday replacing the door and doorframe on the back of my garage..... it was getting so rotten that one good kick would have had it open!

Thankfully my Father-in-Law is a very good brickie!

Now have a new door and frame, the old window bricked up, and a rather decent 5 lever lock on the door!
