If the tub's OK, which it appears to be, it might be worth bidding on. Loads of niggly work to do, unless you like gelcoat or want to spray it I'd give the detachable bits to the factory.

I was thinking metallic purple, to appease the management. I know a sprayer.

I wonder how much it went for (as it seems to have been sold not on eBay). Interestingly he says it's "For sale as spares.". Does that mean you can't rebuild it? Looks like you could provided the main tub is ok.
