Oh, boy..... you have SO much to look forward too!

Sleepless nights, the smell of spilt formula milk, the cutting of the first teeth, how can such a small poo stink the whole house out?!, the MIRACLE that is Calpol, "I don't care how many toys you have bought for me... I want to play with the SKY remote...."

Just make sure you enjoy every minute of it!

My son (only child... so far!) was one last Saturday, time really flies Matt.... make the most of it!!

Tell me it must have been via a C section? not a "natural" birth....same goes for you Spartan, 10lb 4 was it? blimey, it's all quite unbelievable.
Thanks again, Matt.

Yes both mine born by section the first because of Pre eclampsia the second was elective because of the predicted size,11lb 3oz, and because of the problems with the first.

Both are wonderful most of the time and I can't believe my eldest will be 4 in 2 weeks time just flies.

My hands are suprisingly empty considering...but possibly because I've still not gone back to work

This has allowed me to Sell my Transit van, Tinker with my off road buggy, buy a autograss chassis (with plans for a bike engine and cossie diff dropped in back), and am today welding my brother in laws 325i for it's MOT. If I get a spare minute or two I want to get the trackday special mini in the garage to put some spax at the rear and then sell that to fund a full rebuild on the 6R4 replica.

But on the baby front, we're all doing great, he's sleeping for england (wakes once at 3.30am, feeds, then straight back off 'til 8am!!!), and my wife if making the most of the break and already back in her favourite fitted jeans (so shes happy, which means I'm happy). All in all suprisingly little changed, although I might think different next week when I'm back to the grindstone.
