Brits Abroad

US enthusiasts seeking some individuality are gradually getting more choice of British cars. GoGinetta are the worldwide agents for UK's Ginetta and are now selling G4 Coupes and Roadsters in left hand drive.

Also of interest is LESCC - the Leading Edge Sports Car Company which is now marketing the 190RT and 240RT. The potent little roadsters are fitted with Nissan engines and can dash to sixty in under five seconds.

I am pulling for the guys at Goginetta. We will finally get some real British DNA in our sportscars here in the USA. The G4 should be real exciting--it will show the Elise a thing or 2 I bet. Do you think someone could finally test a G12, though?

Don't tell Ford that the XK8 and DB7 aren't real sportscars either!

One of my friends has a removable hard top G4 on order. Can't wait to grub a ride on Elkhart Lake in the G4. Hope he shows those Vipers a thing or two in the process.

I went to the goginetta website and didn't really see any good pictures of the removable hard top G4.
If the removable hard top G4 looks as nice as the coupe G4, they are going to be very successful--especially knowing the G4 is Ford powered--easy to service anywhere in the world!

The Dare G4 comign to the USA is great news to those of us across the pond.
I can't wait to see the look of astonishment when the G4 eats of the Vipers, Vettes and Carreras over here.
Okay, so there isn't air conditioning--go for the removable hard top!
The G4 and G12 are timeless classics which will be very welcome over here.

The LESCC doesn't look as spiff as the G4, but it has the engine in the right spot and is probably easier to get into compared to the G12 for example.

Maybe someone in the land of PISTONHEADS could drive the LESCC?

Still wish someone would drive the G12!

The G4 will be much easier to live with than the LESCC becuase the design has been perfected over the years (look at the Carrera, Espirit and Morgan for example) and the engine is a fairly unmodified Ford Zetec.

How about some pictures of the removable hardtop G4 with and without top?

Dare has a winner on their hands--I hope they can keep up with demand!

Here is the New G4 without the top. Notice the curved windscreen as opposed to the flat previous one on the roadster.

Hey, you don't get Monday off, so no excuses.

The car looks absolutely delicious
Can't wait until PT or one of his minions gets a road test.

I've been to the www.goginetta.com site. Very nice!

Hope Dare gets plenty of orders and sends a message to the numpty's out there who think they can't make a go of it in the USA!

I also can't wait to see the G4 with and without the hardtop!

What car show is going on this weekend in the UK?

Isn't Dare going to be featured there prominently?

Love to see piccies from the show...

A couple of pix. Ivor Walklett proudly standing next to his new G4 creation.
Very busy couple of days at the show with lots of interest. More pictures @ www.goginetta.com
No hard-top photo's as yet though. I beleive it's still in he making.
FYI - I am going down to Dare tomorrow with Bret Frasier (motoring Journalist of EVO magazine etc..) who is road testing both the new G4 and the new LHD TG Sport. Check out EVO mag. for the results.

Great piccies. I hope EVO has a ton of fun with the G4 and can compare contrast the G4 with the Elise and G20 as well!

Any new piccies? What about the interior? What about a photo of the removable hard top? How cumbersome will the hard top be? Will EVO know about these developments (removable hard top, etc.?)

What about the G12? Any plans to produce more of those?
