So I took the P4 replica to Keevil today to give it a run and sadly an oil pipe came away or at least we think that's what happened, it then all happened so fast, a bit of smoke hten it caught fire 4 extinguishers wouldn't put it out and the fire brigade were called but all that's left is a pile of metal.

I feel for you mate.

I've followed the build of that car through your pictures, and it was a gem.

Can't imagine how you must feel about losing it.

Gutted for you Mark!! but glad you're ok at least, although I imagine that's not really going to make you fell any better.....

I too have followed your build and was looking forward to seeing it at Hullavington in a couple of weeks.

Hope it all works out ok and I'm sure the rebuild (or new kit) will be even better

That is one serious bit of bad luck. Sickening just reading about it so can't imagine how bad you must feel.

Only thing for it in the short term. But you've got to build another, don't give up.
