Ok, well as i have nothing to do this summer :P
But i can not afford a GTM yet recomend me a good cheap first kit! 7 or cobra style. Needs to be quick, easy and cheap to build. Also bare in mind i'm only 21 so fairly low power!

Usual suspects is a Locost with Xflow or 1.4/1.6 K series power.

Hi Athalus,

If you decide to build a Locost and want to use the crossflow engine then I may be able to supply you with a full 1300gt crossflow and type 9 gearbox with propshaft.

Its currently in my hillclimbing Locost and as I plan to change to bike power at the end of the season (september - if you can wait that long) it would be the perfect engine for you.

I can email you pictures and a full spec if needs be. It is a well sorted package with many trick parts fitted as it was used (and still is eligible) for the 750 motorclub locost race series.

Regards,
Oli

You'll find an article listing all the kits you can build for under £4,000 in issue 1 of totalkitcar magazine, available from www.totalkitcar.com
