Who is going to the Newark Show 19/20th?

I'll be taking my Dino 246 replica down on Saturday on the Italian Replica Club stand.

watkid,

drop her off at the showground and pop over to mine (only 5 mins from there) then we'll go to Newark.

In fact I could drop my other half off there too!

I'll be going sunday in the diesel bus as the whole family is going Mrs. spartan_andy and 2 Spartan_andy ankle biters both girls. So if you see a harrassed looking 30 something bloke with 3 feamles in tow, 1 30something, 1 aged 4 with blonde hair and 1 aged 2 with ginger hair prbably in a pushchair that's me.

Meeja are you going if so keep an eye out for me I may need some moral support.

Will try and remember my badge this time

It would seem that "someone" has Teds danglies in a vice! So Den is barred So much for free speech.

I spoke to Den the other day and he has been barred by the powers that be, (temporarily I hope), as I told him he is a fountain of useful knowledge, and an asset to this forum......Let's hope he keeps on the happy pills......

Thanks for taking the time to find me, Andy. It was a small show, but Tom and I bought ALL the lights for his Luego from the guy at Premier Wiring for £85 all in including bulbs. All nice lights, not like the Robin Hood ones (IMHO). The headlights are smallish black plastic which look more 'racecar' than 'Classic Lotus', but fit our budget nicely at £25 the pair.

Definitely smaller than last year, I put it down to the weather (being generous, like), I'll see what Doningtons like.

I'll be going to donnington again but this year I won't have the family in tow. Will be bringing a former kit car owner who had to sell because of moving house he's also the chap who has helped me on the spartan so the least I can do that and a half bottle of jack daniels which I brought back from malta.

He's interested in the stylus so I hope SSC will be there.

Same here..... will probably go with a mate of mine who has *just* treated himself to a second hand Cosworth engined Westfield

Bearing in mind that there should be a trackday event at Donington at the same time, I'll try and persuade him to see how well his car can perform! (It has already earned my respect from the outing I went on some local "friendly" country roads)

Boring , less there than last year, and weather was poor. The only fun was the drive there / back on greasy roads with 500BHP/tonne under my right foot, despite getting well soaked in the process. Sadly I think this show is in danger of dying out..... OK if you wanted to buy sunglasses, wellies, spades, underpants and loads of other non-car related crud, but naff if you were wanting to see a good spread of Kit Manufactures, Parts suppliers, or decent turn-outs from Owners Clubs. Hope Donnington is better.

Meeja let me know where and when we could probably meet up with furoserie as he says he might be coming. I'll definately be giong sunday again as it's when they open the track. It was very enjoyable just watching some of the machinary fling round the circuit, even more fun when I was in one of the bits of machinary, even if it was a vindicator!
