I had one for a couple of years.. (see profile)
I'm 5'9 and there was loads of room, but my Dad is 6'3, and he drove the car on a couple of occasions.. with the hard-top on..
they're great fun cars, although a bit skittish.. make sure the alignment is A-OK!!
also quite pokey even with the 1.4 Multi-point engine.. if you get one (there are a few) with the 1.8 then they'll keep an elise honest.
unfortunately, a company (Northlight Sporstcars) bought the design several years ago, and apart from setting up a website to slag off the kitcar industry, haven't done anything with it... so spares e.g. exhaust may be very difficult to get hold of!

I found the Northlight website (it's not at northlightsportscars.com anymore), and they are offering upgrades for the front and rear grp bodywork, new rollcage, new exhaust and radiator, gearshift and pedal box assemblies, all for £2300. This will bring it up just about to the standard of a K4.

Unfortunately, it now looks like I won't be able to afford to buy one this summer (my compulsiveness got the better of me last night and I bought a new guitar instead!)

Someone was asking about Northlight on the GTMOC list the other day so I sent this URL over to them.
One of the K3 owners reckons this site is actually a copy of the original Northlight site that was up before their little tirade against the ki car industry. Apparently, the Newark and Donnington shows referred to are 2003, not 2004.
