Had a look at your Foreman Mk4 diary yesterday.
The inspector will have too pick his jaw up off the tarmac before he puts on the white gloves and dares to touch it.
good luck, but I don't think you'll need to much of it, nice build

Bad news, coincedence and good news!

So the day started OK but slow traffic on the way to collect a friend threatened to delay us so once past it we cracked on, just before Leatherhead on the M25 we passed a stationary Police Car, which shortly afterwards decided to pull us over for a chat, not for speeding but seems they are having a purge on weight checks so we had to follow them to the local Weighbridge, on checking we were well within the overall weight limits but there was too much weight over the Car's back axle, 14% to be precise, We moved the P4 back on the trailer and moved some tools etc and all passed OK, only downside was the BiB gave me 3 penalty points and £60 fine! , the coincidence? the VOSA bloke doing the weighing check was the brother of one of the SVA testers at Gillingham, he called ahead to explain we may be late.

On arrival at Gillingham they all thought it was hilarious that I'd been pulled but I think it helped break the ice and after a few minutes we were getting on well, ultimately they were reasonably lenient I think and many things that might have failed were passed except, rear fogs were not bright enough and no rear relectors (I thought they were in the light clusters ) after discussion with the testers they suggested that were we to resolve these matters they might be able to pass it today so a quick trip to Brown Brothers and some velcro later and IT PASSED

Superb!

Extremely pleased for you - I have looked long and hard at these cars, and had a chat with a couple of owners at Stoneleigh. Looks fabulous, and after all that effort, you deserve to enjoy it. What was the 3-pointer for? Sounds a bit harsh to me, I mean, who would really know that the weight distribution was slightly out?

Great news about the pass. Guess this means we'll be seeing the car at PistonFest then.

Bummer about the penalty points though, especially as it sounds like some bullshit from the BiB. Too much weight over the back axle? 911 owners be afraid - be very afraid.

Might be worth seeking some legal advice and arguing the case if it's not too late because it really does sound odd.

That's really harsh!! I can't believe you didn't get a warning, especially as you rectified it there and then! Someone was obviously having a bad day or on a bit of a power trip

Congrads! I see on your website you've already taken it to Hullavington, will you be going again? I'll be there on 18th June and would love to see the beast

Congrats on the pass.

Re: 3pts, sounds like someone was a little jealous so thought they had to find something wrong. Bummer.

Now you have all the time you like to enjoy the car.
