Tiger Cub or Tiger Cat?
Discussion
Hi there,
I'm switching from TVR to Tiger and am currently torn between a race tuned factory-built early 90's Tiger Cub and a privately built 2 year old Tiger Cat (milder tune for road use). I know the Cub fairly well as it's a neighbour's. Can anyone swing me towards a certain car? Budget around £5k by the way.
Many thanks.

I'd go with the Cat (not that I'm biased
). Seriously though, it's a newer car and should be in better nick than the Cub. Also I'm not a great fan of the Cub's nose, it just looks weird to me.
Main thing to look out for are the front suspension bushes. The Cat's (and Cub's I think) front suspension is a bit strange and the trailing arm bushe tends to ware out very quickly where it mounts to the chassis. If it's got poly bushes then that's a big bonus as it's a right hassle changing them later (see my website under mods). Other than that, their pretty simple cars and not really much to go wrong
