We seem to have enough numbers signed up to the bonkers lease deal to warrant a thread of it's own, so......

July 2025
Leapmotor C10
Funky forest green (my daughters name for the colour)
£161 to £182 on a 1+23 profile (5k Miles pa)
10p excess mileage inc VAT

Pretty much a Chinese tesla knock off with lacklustre reviews all round from the UK motoring press. The summary being:

Slow Charging Speeds

Poor Energy Efficiency

Unengaging Driving Dynamics

Intrusive Driver Assistance Systems

Lacks Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Unproven Brand in UK

That's all coming from a price point of £37k though. I think I can live with those for just over £2k a year and with standard kit being very generous.

For pootling around town and sorting the school run it seems like a no brainer to me.

Estimated delivery is October for me which fits nicely with my other lease going back.

Anyone else in?

My lease ends in April, otherwise I'd be considering it. I asked for an extension and got slapped with a 10% increase which - for a then 2-year old car - is annoying.

I managed to get and broadcast the £161 5k miles deal bounce

Ordered the carlinkit CCPA without mic to get wireless carplay and AA. Looks like its just plug and play! I think the version without mic should be fine as people are saying they're getting the built in mic to work with some playing about.

When I get the car I need to find a magsafe charger for my iPhone.

Apparently there's a 2pin connector for a dashcam on or under the headlining where the hazard button is.

Hopefully getting the car in 2/3 weeks

There’s supposed to be an update to allow existing models to have the wireless functionality so by the time you get the car it might not even be an issue.

You guys are brave biggrin

That said, I found it very comfy inside with nice mood lighting. I seem to remember a giant pano roof too? Been a while since I saw one.

Good luck!

I have just ordered too. Haven't actually seen one yet but considering the price, it was difficult to turn it down. Managed to get a 24 month, 8k miles per year lease for £1673 deposit and £139 per month from Stelatis Birmingham. I'm going to call at a dealership this afternoon to have a look.

For others interested, the car needs annual servicing with year 1 costing £166 and year two £288.

I am loving your review!
My main concerns when buying any new car is how well it goes round the Nurbugring, has anyone tested it there?
That could be the deal breaker for me!

Be worth sending it back a month early.

What on earth do they do that warrants those costs?

I was told this at the dealership too but there s lots of online talk about how the hardware can t support it until leapmotor update the hardware

£25 for the carlinkit is worth it even if they do update the software down the line

I'm so tempted. Sell the Type R, use this for daily motoring and buy a Caterham laugh

First found on leasing.com, but it's a direct dealer offer with stellantis:

I've gone for one too through Citroen Leeds. Spoke to them and Bham North and Leeds were cheapest at £161. Jake was helpful. Finance docs all sent off hopefully goes smoothly.
Second car for us so it's just for nursery run and shops.
Was tempted to run through ltd company but as its so cheap its almost not worth the admin and BIK

Here's where it starts then... these getting everywhere at that price point. As long as they aren't horribily unreliable they'll sell like hotcakes to the car operators... doesn't matter if it drives like a wet lettuce

I wonder if that excludes road tax? Otherwise, well done!

Has anyone asked how far away delivery can be held off until for factory orders?

Hi Yus, can you share the contact details of who you used please. Always easier to go in with a known supplier!

Definitely tempted by this. I'm not fussed by the driving experience just looking for a bargain cheap motor. Currently on the Honda deal which ends in March next year. Just wondering how long you can delay delivery? Don't mind some overlap but would like to keep it to a minimum. Even if got to get it now probably still worth it.

I can't see how the established brands are not completely stuffed.

Seems comparable cost to when Ford were knocking Ka's out for £5500 new 20 odd years ago.

I've got my Polestar 2 until May next year, otherwise I would be all over this. It might be a bit lacklustre, but it's a new, large car that has all the basics you need, and will cost pennies to run for a couple of years.
