Where is this located please, I thought I looked before and it was in Guernsey, now saying Sussex. Am I going mad?

No, you're not going mad, apologies for any confusion. I'm located in Guernsey (relocation is the reason for the sale) and the PH system was picking up the location details for the auction from my profile details automatically.

The car is in Uckfield, East Sussex so I had to update the listing - didn't want anyone being concerned about import or other collection issues.

Will weather gear fit with this cage?
Also will doors and mirrors fit or is this a problem due to the cage?

Hi, on mirrors - good spot, they’re not in the car in the pictures but I do have them, they’ll be provided with the car and they’re very simple to fit. I’ve found the large central rear view mirror (and lack of doors!) more than enough to see behind and around the car but they’re they’re as needed.

Doors and weather gear are more challenging, standard ones won’t fit with the cage in place so a custom solution would be needed.

Is the cage removable to allow fitting of a more standard bar and wet weather gear and if so, are there holes left which have been made in the body/chassis which could be problematic? Thanks.

Hi, afraid I can’t really answer that fully and wouldn’t want to speculate - the cage was on the car when I bought it so unclear to me exactly what changes were made.

From the description it looks like the cage is ‘mounted’ rather than welded in place so could be removed / swapped if that’s the case.
