Can you confirm if the V5 was updated when the engine was replaced? This shows an F-series engine. Is this the engine number of the replacement engine?

Hi,

I'm interested in the 2014 991.1 GT3 PDK (Ref #19900334) and have a few questions before placing a bid:

1. Engine replacement — I can see the engine was replaced by Porsche in July 2018 at 11,620 miles. Could you confirm whether this was part of the known connecting rod recall campaign? Is there a full Porsche report available for the replacement, and do you know the engine serial number of the replacement unit (G6 revision)?

2. Ownership history — The car has had 5 previous owners in roughly 10 years. Are you able to share any insight into why it has changed hands so frequently?

3. Usage location — Has the car predominantly been based in Scotland/Aberdeen throughout its life, or was it kept elsewhere by previous owners? My main concern is prolonged exposure to road salt during winter months.

4. Underbody condition — The listing mentions "usual light oxidisation" to suspension components. Would you be able to provide additional close-up photos of the subframe, brake lines, suspension arms, and any areas underneath that may show salt corrosion?

5. Finance — The listing states there is a finance agreement on the car. Can you confirm this will be fully settled before transfer of ownership, and will a clear HPI certificate be provided at that point?

6. Porsche warranty — You mention the extended Porsche warranty is transferable. Could you confirm the exact expiry date and what it covers (powertrain only or comprehensive)?

7. Over-revs / engine hours — Is there an over-revs report or engine hours log available from Porsche? This would help confirm how the car has been driven.

8. Current bid / reserve — Could you give me an indication of where the reserve sits, or what the current highest bid is?

Happy to arrange a viewing if the answers are satisfactory.

Many thanks

Hi there, please find the answers to your questions below

1. Engine replacement — The new engine is an F series engine. I have some paperwork from porsche and a photo fo the serial number. I believe these documents should be in the auction images

2. Ownership history — No sorry, ive owned the car for nearly two years that all i can attest to. Given its 12 years old im not sure 5 owners in 12 years is 'high'?

3. Usage location — No, i bought the car in London and drove it up here, from what i can understand its spent most of its life in that part of the country.

4. Underbody condition — The photographer took some pictures under the car so they should be on the auction.

5. Finance — Yes absolutely, i will settle the finance prior to ownership transfer. I have an HPI check from when i went to purchase the car, id presume any serious buyer would do the same

6. Porsche warranty — Its a full porsche warranty, comprehensive. Due to renew in October, around the 13th. At that point, this year, a further three years can be purchased.

7. Over-revs / engine hours — I dont have one no.

8. Current bid / reserve — Im not sure im able to do that
