Hi, in addition to the 12 month servicing shown. Has it had the 6 month/3000 Safety checks done? and the initial 6 month/600-1200 miles servive.
They don't need an 'initial' 6 month service. The 6 month safety check is recommended but not necessary and is certainly not a warranty requirement. Servicing is every 6k miles or 12 months whichever comes first.bennno said:
2 questions
1. Noting you ve had it from new, has it ever had any damage or repairs to the bodywork / paintwork?
2. Would the winning buyer pay Toyota financial services directly and the balance to you, or how would you plan to approach this?
1. No - never any damage or repairs.1. Noting you ve had it from new, has it ever had any damage or repairs to the bodywork / paintwork?

2. I have in fact now paid off the remaining balance to Toyota Financial Services so the car is wholly owned by me.

Agreed. I m happy to post a picture of the worksheet for those safety checks but it was nonsense (check floor mats, check washer fluid etc) and cost £75.
Good luck with the sale looks a nice low mileage example. I've also had my 2022 model from new and they are a cracking little car. This is exactly how you’d spec it in a game: factory-stock performance, then a few smart quality-of-life upgrades that make every drive better. No wild mods, just the kind of tweaks you unlock after putting real hours into the car better visibility, better seating position, better immersion. It’s a great example of enhancing the player experience without breaking the original balance of the build.
At the risk of sounding like a bit of a t
t that kind of was my philosophy for the car. I m not a gamer but I feel the car did not need any mechanical mods - it is plenty fast enough for UK roads, the brakes are superb and for me the noise is fine too. So I felt no need to do anything there (though I have changed the horn as the original was embarrassing). But I wanted to lift the interior so went to String Theory for the Alcantara bits. The wireless CarPlay is a boon too and picks up my mobile quickly every single time. The original mirror fitment and seat height I felt were actually fine (I’m 185cm tall) but those mods were straightforward and definitely make the driving position better.

I sold my GR last May, went in a different direction as I own two similar cars. I have regretted selling it on occasions as they are a superb vehicles that you can use for most purposes. I did have all the 6 monthly safety checks done they started out being £50 but raised by Toyota to £75. And as this owner says it was just a check around no oil change, is it a waste of money probably yes, had it been done in this instance it would have alleviated a whole host of backward and forward questions. I also only upgraded the horn the OEM one is pathetic. Good luck with the sale these are superb car's.
