1994 BMW 840Ci (E31) Auto
Discussion
I had one of these 840's approx 20 years ago, loved it! daily driver for 3 years before selling it on.
Mine was in Dark Green with Cream Interior and the option BBS Split Rim wheels, beyond servicing, never cost me a bean whilst in my possession, was ok on tyres and not too silly drinking Mr Shell's 5 star finest.
Years before buying mine, they were often advertised on a full page ad' in the Sunday Times Magazine and at the time, I believe that they were the most expensive Coupe' that BMW built. Used to drool over them and then some years later, when they came into my budget, bought mine, this one looks like it requires a bit of TLC however, for a keen enthuiast with a bit of available time and a retrim on the Driving Seat, would probably make a great weekend motor, always liked the pillarless design for the warm summer driving, noticed that this one has an issue with de-pixilation the radio and info centre, had the same issue with my own. Non the less, if looked after, these were great cars.
