2009 Mazda MX-5 (Mk3) BBR Super 180

It’s only been on the track once in the last five years. And not even on the new suspension. The DB noise was fine at the Bedford Aerodrome with the current exhaust set up. It has removable baffles in the Super Q silencer too. The Koni sport (yellows) shocks work great with the expensive Progress Technology Springs. I did a lot of research on this set up. It’s the same as the Flyin Miata Koni stage 1 package. The ride quality on the road was important to me and I tend to have the Konis on fully soft most of the time. The ride height is also worth mentioning. Slightly lower than the original Bilstein set up but not too low. No issues with speed humps etc.
NC's are excellent value right now. Enough modern tech to keep them reliable and fairly headache free but old school enough to keep things simple without all the dings and bells of a really modern car. Even the more modern ND version....
Some nice tasteful mods, including replacing that ticking time bomb of an expansion tank.
Biggest interiors of all the MX5's too... unfairly called a boat but still a small car compared to anything on the road....
Rust does kill most mx5's so nice to read that its been undersealed that really makes a difference.. as usually mechanically they are fairly sound, although I know the older NC engines did suffer with an oil starvation issue, I expect this wont have that as its newer.... not sure what impact the BBR has to the longevity however. But given how relativity little horsepower there is from stock the engine is not they are stressed at all.
Good luck with the sale

Just to reiterate, the black underseal (dinitrol) you can see was professional carried out by The MX5 Restorer in 2021. A second under seal was carried out last month by KROWN rustproofing. This is a CLEAR underseal so you obviously can’t pick it up in the photos.
You can only see the bottom of the yellow Koni’s. They are covered in neoprene protection socks from BOFI racing.
