Hi, The rod bearings are OK. This applies to the early models only.

Rod bearings can be an issue on any M3. The recall for very early cars was a separate problem.

The rod bearings have not requireed attention, the engine rums like a sewong machine.

Could you please clarify the service history since the last stamp at 89k in 2012

The service was carried out by Perry & Prowse Taunton but the service book was not stamped. I will try and get them to send me details. You ate welcome to see the ca at any time.

Service has been based on a use basis as recommended.

Thanks but service interval is 15k / 2 years whichever is sooner

We ask that you bid based on you own affordability and your view on value for the car presented.

Needless to say this is a great example maintained well within the same ownership for 22 years.
