1990 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera 2S RS America Evocation
Discussion
Hi. Interesting car. A few questions, please;
1. Are there any photographs of the Cat D damage? Was it just to the wing, or was the chassis leg damaged as well?
2. Was there no servicing between 2006 and 2022, and then again between 2022 and now?
3. Has the heater/mixer box been removed entirely from the bulkhead area, or is it possible to reinstall everything relatively easily?
4. Standard suspension?
5. Would it be possible to get a list of the spare parts available?
Apologies for all the questions, just the nature of auctions, I’m afraid.
Thanks very much.

I have some more photographs from an old Google collection that show the work in progress when the car was stripped down. They also display the wing damage and include images from the visit to the Classic Le Mans. There was no damage found by the body shop other than the nearside wing, as shown in the photos [here](https://photos.app.goo.gl/Lthmauh1U5fS9ey7A).
I've owned the car for about 17 years. It spent the first 3.5 years in restoration and has only covered 4,000 miles since 2008 then. It has been garaged 99% of the time and is started up every couple of weeks, with a run around the block every month.
The heater/mixer and all parts associated with the heater have been retained and can be re-installed. The head unit for the heater control has the usual problem found in most old 964s and needs reconditioning. This is common, as discussed in this [forum thread](https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/threads/broken-heater-control.123742/).
The suspension has had the springs replaced for a lower, stiffer ride. The brake lines have been replaced with braided hoses.
Regarding additional parts, I have the original Cup II alloys, with tires on the rear wheels, plus many more bits and pieces, including the back box exhaust. I will gather them later and attach some pictures of the parts.
Thanks for the questions. Please feel free to ask as many as you need. I've tried to summarize as much as possible, but having had the car for so long, the questions help jog my memory. I really want the car to move on to someone who knows what they want and values the Porsche 964 brand, which I fell in love with so many years ago. Since I don't drive this car, she needs to move on to someone else who can be the next custodian of such a classic car with rich engineering roots.
