The R does have the EA888. It also has the VW XDS Electronic diff which tries to replicate a mechanical LSD

To call XDS an LSD would be misleading.

Thanks for keeping us honest, although it seems we're not alone in confusing engine codes.

The engine in the Scirocco R is indeed an EA113 and the diff is of the electronic XDS variety. The listing has now been updated to reflect this.

I had a look at the photos and it looks like there are marks on the bonnet. Is this because the car is wet please?

There is a stone chip on the bonnet as the photo shows

Hi, the following stated in the auction seem to conflict, “Servicing invoices as follows: Aug 2018 @ 10,807 miles, Sep 2024 @ 38,668 miles”
And
“The seller informs us that the car has had five services since new, and that they have paperwork for four of these”.
So are there invoices for 2 or 4 services, and is there a stamped service book showing all (4, or more) services?
