No evidence that any remedial work required.

Good Evening,

I have just come across this fantastic car which is the perfect spec for me. Would you be able to contact me to discuss a deal privately please? No nonsense or time wasting, genuine purchase request.

Best wishes,
Ben

Just to check has any of the big three issues with these M3 been reworked?

>Rod bearings replacement
>VANOS service
>Subframe reinforcement.

Also when it was off the road was it stored inside? Was it turned over every so often

Is there any signs of rush round the wheel arch areas?

Hello Ben

Thank you so much for your interest in the M3, it is a great car and this one is a fine example.

Please can we ask you to place your maximum bid via the auction platform. This way it is kept fair for all. There is rightly a lot of interest in this car and its is only fair to all that everyone places their bids on the platform and we have a fair winner of the car at the end.

Any private sales agreed outside of the platform whilst its live, and in line with terms and conditions, are still liable for the buyer's fees. These fees are there for PH to cover their costs of setting up and promoting the listings. Without them the platform would not exist for all those looking to partake fairly in the open honest and transparent platform we have.

Once again thank you for your interest and best of luck with the auction

Happy bidding everyone

Ben, alternatively you can of course use the make an offer button on the listing to present an offer on the car whilst it is still in coming soon. We can then pass your offer onto the seller to make his decision on whether it is enough to accept prior to the auction commencing.

If you have any queries or question please do feel free to email directly i will be more than happy to assist.

Good Luck

In response to several similar questions about my M3, I hope that I can offer some clarity.
I purchased the car in October 2010 at 85000 miles. It has a full BMW dealer service record at appropriate mileages. For the following 10 years I used it during summer months only, adding just 4000 miles.
It has always been kept under a soft cover in a dehumidified garage and has received an oil and filter change annually prior to being declared SORN in December 2020. It has been started and warmed up for 10-15 minutes every 8 weeks or so whilst off road.
There are currently no issues with the Vanos system, the rod ends, or the rear floor, accordingly the car has not been subjected to unnecessary remedial work.
During my ownership it has never been used on track.
There is no bodywork rust.
A new Premium Bosch battery was fitted a week ago to replace the existing 10 year old one, at the same time it was undergoing a full valet prior to being offered for sale.

Are you able to confirm the headlights are factory original lights? They seem slightly darker?
