Hi, do you know how the damage to the footrest has occured? I've never seen this on a car before? Thanks

I'm afraid I don't. They've always been there during my ownership. Though they are all marks / stains rather than any breaks or damage of that nature. The yellowish / brown looks like some sort of adhesive. Though it's hard and no longer sticky!

Hi, am I reading right that since July 2021, the only servicing the car has had are a couple of oil changes at a local garage? If so, can you confirm that VW specified oil was used as it seems quite cheap? Thanks.

Hi there, the car has had the services that it has needed as and when prompted by the onboard computer in the time I've had it by a reputable local garage. They are extremely reasonably priced yes, but excellent. I have been taking my cars there for the best part of 25 years with no issues. I have no reason to believe that they wouldn't have used the recommended oil.

May 2023 at the time of the MOT the two front tyres were changed for new Maxtrek Maximus tyres. The two back tyres haven't been changed in my time as the owner. They're not a matching pair. The back right is a davanti and the back left is a road x Rx motion.

Ah sorry, they've not been changed since I've owned it. Neither pads nor discs.
