How bad is the damage on the windscreen? And does it need to change the whole windscreen required by MOT ?

The window screen has a small stone chip, it was noted on the MOT but wasn’t a reason to fail.

It has been checked by the Porsche specialist at Brighouse when the car was recommissioned, it went through an intensive check approximately 12 months ago , including a bore scope. They did notice some very minor marks in 1 &3, however they were not of concern and the car has not suffered from any symptom's connected with this, and was given a full bill of health.

Hi It would be wonderful if you have any bore scope report to share , or scope photos to see how insignificant are those marks on Bore 1 & 3. My 996 suffered Bore Score, just being careful that the next car would not repeat again. Thanks.

Hi, I haven’t any photos or videos from the bore score check, I’ll be honest, I didn’t even think to ask, I could ask if there are any available or if they can provide a written report.
When the recommissioning was carried out there was only the cooling pipes which had slightly corroded, we had these replaced and it was only the general service parts that were required.
I have driven the car a few times since the work was carried out including the latest MOT and it is a beautiful car to drive, it hasn’t used a drop of oil, it’s unbelievably smooth and the power is immense.

Reason to not bid the seller knew of bore scoring and initially failed to disclose it from potential buyers!

Not being a Porsche owner, and being advised that it wasn’t a problem to worry about I didn’t feel it was important, if I wasn’t transparent I wouldn’t have mentioned it at all.
Nobody is asking you to bid

Marks on Bore 1 & 3 sound unusual. The 'standard pattern' seems to affect Bores 6 & 5 first.

Either way, I agree that it's a bit of a concern not to disclose this in the listing and it has stopped me putting a bid in.
