Does this have the performance package? Any mods? What's the condition of the front discs?

There have been no modifications, it has the P30 Performance pack from new and the discs are in good order.

JezT64, I think what you want is Photograph 113 in the posting.

Hi,

Are you the actual owner who has had this great looking Merc for the last 15 years?

Hi
Can you advise if you have replaced the disc or pads in the last couple of year, I noted the advisory on the previous MOTs, but couldn’t see anything in the history photos
Thanks
Mike

Mh3232. Neither discs or pads have been changed in the last two years. The car has had little use and was kept in a dry garage. The MOT station is just over a mile away and light rust was observed on the discs on those occasions. The discs are currently clean, front wear less than a fingernail thickness and rears far less. Pads have 5 to 6mm left.

Thank you for both the prompt response and the comprehensive reply. Just 2 quick questions does the comand have media / music interface.
The car looks in fantastic condition and obviously has been well cared for are there any items that you would recommend the next owner to undertake or address.
Thanks
Mike

Mh3232, The Comand controls the multi CD unit and the single DVD / CD unit. The multi CD unit will accept MP3, WAV and WMA formats. There is an Aux in socket in the glove compartment which can be selected in Comand. I don't think you can cast media to it.

The car does attract attention, has been regularly cleaned with high end products and has only been in wet weather by accident during the past 15 years.

I did once consider having an upgraded Comand fitted but was advised that this might upset purists.

One suggestion might be a wooden block fitted under the accelerator pedal when on motorways if you get my gist smile.

Thanks for the reply, I understand your thoughts about maintaining the originality. I think you can get Dab radio unit to plug into the aux cable in the glove box. And as man of certain age it will give me an excuse to exercise my old CDs. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to make the decision whether the optional wooden block should be an incremental addition

Please can you or anyone else say how the auction administration works.
I realise I bid but if I win what happens then?
How soon do you need the car collected from Plymouth?

If you are the highest bidder, we will automatically take payment of the buyer's fee from your registered card on your account. Within 24 working hours we carry out safety checks on buyers to help protect our sellers (sellers are also checked as well to protect buyers).

Once payment has been processed and the checks are complete, we connect the buyer and seller to arrange collection of the car.

Assuming the generations of COMAND are the same in SLKs as E Classes, bluetooth for music (as opposed to calls) didn't come along until some point in late 2010/early 2011.

With the aux in you can plug in a phone or an MP3 player but the controls are limited - maybe just start/stop? Or not even that? Dunno, I never tried on mine.

Better to stick a bluetooth adapter in there, assuming you have a power socket. If not, adding one is an easy job for a fitter.

Cracking car, btw.
