No work like that has needed to be done. The car has never been in an accident.

Has the subframe been inspected in the recent pass.

Cannot see from service listing what was Service 1 and what was Service 2. Do you know when last Service 2 was completed?

Hi there, I assume the rod bearings have not been replaced either (as preventative maintenance?). Also the doors look a slightly different shade of blue, is this noticeable in reality or just the photos, assuming they've never been repainted

Hello,

This is Dave from PistonHeads auctions.

I have spoken with the seller of this car and he reports that the last service was an oil service back in May of this year at the same time the MOT was completed. He mentioned that he has used the same mechanic for many years and that they have not reported back any issues with the subframe.

In his ownership he has also reported that the car has not had any Vanos related issues, and the rod bearings to his knowledge have not been changed.

The seller has said that there is no visible difference in the paint when actually looking at the car.

I hope the above helps, and good luck with your bids.

Kind Regards
Dave

So it has had two owners then (states one owner on home page).
Thanks.

Question, is there a reserve price or would final bid offer be sufficient to buy the car?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Yes there is a reserve on this car. We don't reveal reserves put you will see there is an indicator on the auction to let you know that the reserve is not met and how close you are getting. Good luck! biggrin

So is it one owner or two?
I see this discrepancy on more than one ad ... would be good to be clear on what one owner etc. means. Is it the number of owners plus one and why not just say e.g. two owners as per this car.
Thanks to clarify if you would.

Just a warning, I would like to point out that the interior mirror should be REMOVED ASAP.. If the aliens blood drips out of it (and it will) it will totally melt ANY plastics or anything else it lands on - have seen it lots of times before, a ticking time bomb. Mirror John can sort a new one very easily though.
