Auction: 2007 BMW Z4
Discussion
Hi
This refers to my father’s ownership. A skilled technician therefore did it himself using BMW parts from his local dealer (BMW Cambridge).
He changed the oil and oil filter every Spring. He also has a record of:
Stripped, cleaned and changed O rings on vanos solenoides.
Cleaned MAF sensor.
Changed headlight bulbs to Philips extreme
Replaced both inspection covers
Replaced wing mirror glass o/s
I then purchased from him and have had everything it’s needed from local professionals, as per the advert and receipts.
This is a genuine car in full working order and wonderful condition.
(I’ve had a question or two around water damage or leaks. This car has never had a leak or any damage of any kind).
Thanks

Good morning
The MOT is referring to the washer fluid. Seems to be escaping very slowly. I’ve never had a problem with it but the MOT chap last week was particularly pedantic.
I can’t find what he’s referring to because there’s no corrosion or rust anywhere to be seen. No signs of anything even discolouring under the vehicle (I just went and laid under it again) and the engine bay is spotless.
Car has always been garaged and on the off chance it’s stayed outside, I have a magnetic roof cover and two full size covers for it (included in sale).
Many thanks
