Good evening. It’s always been cared for by Autotest in Norwich. They are enthusiasts as well as a service centre. Main dealers send cars they can’t fix to Autotest.

Nice looking 996, has the IMS been upgraded? And has the RMS been changed? Also does the A/C blow cold?

Hello - IMS has not been changed as defined as solid. IMS failures predominantly happened early on in the cars life. At 99k miles, it’s passed that phase. And we only hear of the issues whereas the vast majority of cars were not impacted … you just don’t hear / read about those. “Another day without an IMS failure” isn’t a juicy headline!

Yes, A/C is working.
