Hi there,

I am a long way from Scotland!

Would you be able to deliver?

Thank you.

Hi, unfortunately I won't be able to deliver the vehicle, however there would be scope to have the car delivered by courier if you were to arrange this from your end.

How far away from Scotland are you?

Thanks, Euan

I've never used them myself but take a look at Shiply https://www.shiply.com/

Most couriers tend to be fairly decent so I'm sure they would be worth a look for anybody that is interested. Thanks for the info!

Hi! What kind of engine tune was applied. Do you have any details?

Also - how many sets of keys come with the car?

Hi, the engine map was optimised through Vdash, taking into account the high flow air filter as well. It was fairly quick before but the map does make a big difference, especially mid-range!

The car only has 1 key, I bought the car with 1 and it's only ever been myself that has drove the car, so never felt the need for a second.

If you have any further questions, feel free to let me know.

Hi mate, is this a UK car or an import?

Also, would you potentially meet at your nearest airport, as I'd be travelling from the South if I was to be successful in bidding?

Thanks! Marv

Hi, yes it is a UK car, even got the original order form for the car from the Volvo dealer!

Not a problem, happy bidding!

Hi Euan,

Looks like a lovely sleeper.

Please could you let me know of the condition of the gearbox? Any issues you're aware of, any fixes / maintenance done?

Many thanks
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks very much, it does fly under the radar well!

The gearbox shifts well, no bangs or rattles through any gears and pulls strong throuout. The gearbox oil was changed just over a year ago purely and simply because it was unknown whether it had ever been done before. They are sealed for life as per Volvo spec unless they have been used for towing, which this car never has.

As for maintenance, I'm presuming you mean with the gearbox, but in general the car has been serviced twice a year with Castrol oil and K&N oil filter. K&N air filter is also serviced and oiled yearly to keep in top condition. Car was serviced in February before the MOT and had new Brembo front pads and discs. Only fault with the car is the mentioned about the On Call service required message, this has never bothered me and doesn't affect the car so has never been looked into further.

If you have any further questions, feel free to let me know!

Thanks, Euan

My wife has a very similar car, to Executive class, with 107000 miles on the clock and no problems It is worth a lot more than your bidders. Built very well, and a super car. I have just driven it for 84 mils in under 2 hours.

Thanks very much! They are lovely to drive and just a total sleeper. Hopefully some bids start to come through and give the car a good home!

Hi Euan,

If I were to bid, would it be possible to collect the car this Sunday, early afternoon?

Also, is cash on collection or part cash, part bank transfer acceptable for payment?

Many thanks, Simon

Hi Simon, totally fine to collect on Sunday that would work out well.

Unfortunately I cannot accept any cash for the car, would have to solely be bank transfer. Hope this isn't an issue

Thanks, Euan
