hi,i see the front wing bolts on the underside have been doneaway with,have the sills been welded before at the usual place(where the quarter joins the sill) is there any signs of corrosion on the wing lip edges and door bottoms,also around quarter glass area and fuel filler flap,thanks

Thanks for your interest. Thankfully the car was mostly rust free prior to restoration, it had obviously been well cared for by all previous owners. I undertook a full respray as some previous paint touch ups over the years were starting to show. Hammonds wife had a cat which jumped on the car and clawed the paint in a couple of locations. His wife took the car to a 928 Specialist to have the claw blemishes blended in before Richard had a chance to notice! Over time the areas that were touched up aged to a slightly different shade of blue - I wasn't happy with that hence the restoration. I've attached some additional photographs of the areas you mention - I hope these help.
