Auction: 1972 Ford Capri
Discussion
What a beautiful car, but unfortunately worth much more than I can possibly afford.
I noticed one minor error in the auction listing, this car is not a Mark 1 Facelift model, it's an original Mark 1, which, in my opinion, is far more desirable than the face lift version that was introduced in 1972. Facelift models have bigger headlamps with the front indicators built into the front bumper, and bigger rear lights rather than the Escort Mark 1 rear lights used on the original Mark 1 models.
I've owned two Mark 1 Capris, my first was a 1600GT XLR bought in 1972, and my second is the only 1972 1300XL left in the UK which I bought in 2020.

The car is as you see it , I have not done anything to it this was how it was when I purchased it in October 2022. As the vehicle description says complete rebuild with a lot of options that were not original spec. But no money spared and everything done to an exceptional standard. No I do not have any other parts seats, gear knobs etc.
