Thanks for your comments, the reg plate comes with the car, I have file full of invoices and a stamped service book which has this registration plate noted throughout, to the best of my knowledge its always been on the 635csi.

Please can you provide some information about the underside of the vehicle in terms of welding, rot, bubbling etc?
Any idea about the source of the engine oil leak?

Is the car available for viewing?

The listing doesn't say anything about how it drives. Engine and gearbox smooth and function faultlessly?
Any wheel wobble? Any noises?

Are all electrical items working? Air con works?

The vehicle was inspected on my purchase and prior to the restoration by trusted professionals, all areas under the car were very solid which is a testament to the life the car has had, very minor repairs undertaken to smarten up the areas which had been repaired some years ago in its 34 years of life.
The car was stripped back and was a rolling chassis with a complete bodywork restoration including new wings from BMW, there is no rot or bubbling or orange peel in its paintwork which is a very good deep finish and smooth with glass reflection.
It drives very well, picks up speed quickly with no hesitation and no deviation to the left or right on acceleration or braking, certainly no wobble or noises.
No known oil leaks and the engine area is very dry and clean.
All positions on the gearbox work, Economy, Sport and via 321 manual select.
Aircon works and blows cold air, heater works and blows hot air.
All electrics in car work including the warning systems with all lights and electric feed operational.
